The photo gallery shows a glimpse of the iGUESSmed meeting that took place last week in El Ejido (Almeria), Spain, with two full days at the Las Palmerillas research center of Fundación Cajamar, partner of iGUESSmed.
On Tuesday 12 we had a double series of speeches, the first one (in English) focused on the fertigation in tomato greenhouses across the Mediterranean basin with the joint participation of two PRIMA projects: iGUESS-MED & Safe-H20-Farm.
The second series of speeches (in Spanish) offered a deeper dive into the iGUESS-MED Project and how it is optimizing irrigation and fertilization of tomato crops, with the attendance of farmers and technicians of Almeria’s greenhouses.
In the afternoon, the plenary meeting of iGUESSmed partners took place, with the sharing of achieved milestones and updates from all the representatives involved.
On Wednesday 13 all project partners visited the commercial greenhouse of Grupo La Caña in Retamar and the UAL experimental greenhouses ANECOOP.
