Workshop held at the Association of Producer Organizations “C.S.C. Lazio”. Fondi, (Italy) 5 July 2024.

On the morning of 5th July 2024, a workshop was held at the Association of Producer Organisations "C.S.C. Lazio" at Fondi (Italy), in collaboration with EVJA, UNIPI and CREA. The main goals of the workshop were to disseminate the results of two projects on the optimization of greenhouse tomato cultivation. The workshop was attended by 40 people in person and 15 online, many of them were agronomists, growers, and stakeholders The main results of the iGUESS-MED project were illustrated from 11:00 to 13:30. The coordinator of iGUESS-MED, Dr. Alejandra Navarro Garcia, provided a brief overview of the main objectives, results and challenge of the iGUESS-MED project. After that Dr. Simone Scarpa (Evja) presnted «an overview of the functionalities of the OPI-EVJA climate station», followed by Professor Luca Incrocci (UNIPI) with «the Simulhydro model», and Dr Valeria Zeni (UNIPI) with «protocols developed for the biological pest control». Farmers and technisian were impresived with the results obtained and show interest in the different functionalities, price and management.
